“I knew already how passionate you are about unfair discrimination and injustice, but till I read the book I'd no idea how energetic you've been in both life and work. I learned a lot from it.”

This is a review of MAKING MY MARK by Tony Wardle, my partner in Vanson Wardle Productions Ltd from 1985 – 1994. I was the producer/director and he was an ex-journalist who oversaw all the research, wrote our documentary scripts, and did many of the brilliant interviews with the contributors. I was delighted when he wrote this accolade:
“It is a well-written and a good read. The themes that run through it are sharp and have a relevance for anyone, particularly those working in the media. Self-belief and determination ring clear, with an incisive political focus and professionalism. Looking at the body of work all strung together, it is very impressive.”
